Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Coachly. By creating an account you agree to them.

Last updated 27 September 2026. Coachly is operated by Ali Abdallah, a sole proprietor established in Egypt, El Shorouk City, Cairo. Contact: support@coachlyeg.com.

1. What Coachly is

Coachly is a marketplace. It connects people in Egypt who want fitness coaching with independent fitness coaches who offer it.

Coaches are independent professionals. They are not employees, agents or partners of Coachly. Coachly does not design training programmes, does not supervise coaching, and is not a party to the coaching relationship between a client and a coach. What Coachly provides is the platform: the storefronts, the booking, the payments, the messaging, and the deadlines that both sides are held to.

2. Who may use Coachly

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Coachly operates in Egypt. Prices and payments are in Egyptian pounds (EGP).
  • You must give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

3. Health and safety

Coachly is not a medical service and nothing on it is medical advice. Coaches are not doctors and a training plan is not a treatment plan.

  • Consult a qualified doctor before starting any exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication.
  • Tell your coach honestly about injuries, conditions and limitations when they ask. A plan built on wrong information can hurt you.
  • You train at your own risk. Stop and seek medical help if you feel unwell.

4. How booking works

  • You send a request for a package. The price shown at that moment is recorded and becomes the price you pay; it cannot change afterwards.
  • The coach reviews the request and accepts or declines it. A coach who does not respond within the window they set loses the request automatically.
  • Before planning, the coach asks the questions attached to that package. You answer them in the app.
  • You pay. Once payment is confirmed, the programme becomes active.
  • The coach then states how many days they need to prepare your plan, between 1 and 14, and that deadline is shown to you.
  • The coach marks the plan as sent. You have two days to confirm you received it or to raise a problem.
  • A client may hold one active coaching programme at a time.

5. Payment

  • All prices are in Egyptian pounds and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Card payments are processed by a licensed Egyptian payment service provider. Coachly does not see, handle or store your card number.
  • A programme starts only after payment is confirmed.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Before payment

You may withdraw a request at any time, for any reason, at no cost. Nothing is charged until you choose to pay.

After payment

Cancellations and refunds after payment are handled by Coachly support, not by the coach. Write to support@coachlyeg.com describing what happened. We will review and reply within two business days.

You are entitled to a refund where:

  • your coach did not deliver the plan within the number of days they committed to;
  • your coach became unreachable or stopped coaching during the programme; or
  • the service was materially not what was described in the package.

Where a programme has been partly delivered, a refund may be proportionate to what was not delivered. Approved refunds are returned to the card used for payment, and the time it takes to appear depends on your bank.

Coachly may also cancel a programme and refund it where a coach's account is suspended or where we find abuse of the platform.

7. If you are a coach

  • Everything you publish about yourself — qualifications, certifications, experience, results — must be true and yours.
  • You must complete identity verification before your storefront goes live. We may ask for a national ID or passport for this purpose only.
  • You set your own packages, prices, durations and questions, and you are responsible for the coaching you deliver.
  • You must deliver the plan within the number of days you committed to. Missing a deadline you set yourself may lead to a refund to the client, to a reduction in what you are paid, and to suspension if it happens repeatedly.
  • You are paid after the client has paid, the programme has been delivered, and the funds have settled. During the launch period Coachly takes no commission; if that changes you will be told before it applies to you.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes and for any professional licence your work requires.
  • You may not take payment for Coachly bookings outside the platform, or ask a client to do so.

8. Messages and reviews

  • Messages between a client and a coach cannot be edited or deleted. They stand as the record of the coaching relationship and are what we look at if there is a dispute.
  • A client may leave one review per coach, after having trained with them, and may edit it for a limited period afterwards.
  • Reviews must be honest and about the coaching. We may remove content that is abusive, defamatory, false, or unrelated.
  • You keep ownership of what you write and upload, and you give Coachly permission to display it on the platform for the purpose of running the service.

9. What you may not do

  • Harass, threaten or abuse anyone on the platform.
  • Impersonate another person, or create an account for someone else without their knowledge.
  • Upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to upload.
  • Try to break, probe or overload the service, or access data that is not yours.
  • Use Coachly to sell anything other than the coaching it is for.

10. Suspension and closing an account

You may close your account at any time from the app or by writing to support@coachlyeg.com. See Delete your account for what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that presents a risk to other users, or where we are required to by law. Where money is owed in either direction at that point, we will settle it.

11. Liability

Coachly provides the platform. It does not provide the coaching and does not guarantee any particular fitness, health or body-composition result.

To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, Coachly is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from the coaching itself, from your reliance on a plan, or from your dealings with a coach. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for our own gross negligence.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Coachly after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us will be heard by the competent courts of Cairo.

Before that, please write to support@coachlyeg.com. Nearly everything is faster to fix that way.
